Using Beckon
Beckon is a Mac app that shows your apps and windows in a ring around your pointer. Beckon Free is free to use for as long as Beckon is offered. Every download includes 14 days of Beckon Pro; after that, a licence unlocks Pro.
Your licence
- A Beckon Pro licence ($24, once) unlocks Pro on up to 3 Macs at a time, for as long as Beckon is offered, including every 1.x update.
- The licence is for you (or, for an AppSumo tier with more Macs, your household or team). Don’t share, resell or publish your key; a key found in public may be revoked.
- Licences bought on AppSumo follow the deal’s terms on AppSumo, and these.
Payment and refunds
Polar is the merchant of record for purchases on withbeckon.app and its terms apply to the payment. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason: write to hello@withbeckon.app or use Polar’s customer portal. A refunded key stops working and Beckon goes back to Free. AppSumo purchases are refunded through AppSumo, within its window.
Your Mac
Beckon asks for the Accessibility and, optionally, Screen Recording permissions, and can change your Dock’s auto-hide setting if you ask it to. You can withdraw a permission in System Settings at any time; the features that need it stop working.
No warranty
Beckon is provided as it is. macOS and other apps change, and a feature that works today may need an update tomorrow; we’ll fix what we can. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above says when. We won’t take away what a licence you’ve bought includes.
